SEATTLE, WA — Seattle Stars FC have the task and honor of representing the city of Seattle when the Evergreen Premier League opens play in May of 2014. The Tukwila-based club is getting ready both on and off the pitch to look their best when the historic kick-off takes place.
The Stars are competing this Fall in the Starfire Premier League. The club has previously won titles in the tough competition. Now they can use the season to mesh their talented roster in preparation for statewide challenges in the EPLWA.
Off the pitch the Stars have rounded up a shirt sponsor, Queen Anne Real Estate (Facebook), and are beginning to phase in their new EPLWA-specific club crest. In the last few days the team has debuted a professional interview / photo backdrop with sponsor, club and league logos.
On Saturday night the players took to the pitch in brand new kits featuring the new crest and sponsor. The match that followed ended in a 1:1 draw with Pars Lions FC. Previously the Stars had beaten Seattle East 1:0 and Northwest Design 3:0.
