goalWA.net and the Evergreen Premier League (EPLWA) announce that the community-established state of Washington soccer news and social media website will join with the new adult semi-pro soccer league as official media partner. goalWA.net will continue to publish news stories and features about the founding of the new league, its clubs, communities and eventually its soccer matches. goalWA.net will also help provide content to the EPLWA official league website.
“We’ve been reporting on the birth and early growth of the EPLWA,” says goalWA.net founder and editor David Falk, “and of course with my coordinating efforts within the Evergreen Premier League our site has an inside view of how this local revolution in soccer is taking shape. So it is only natural that we want to put our volunteer resources behind the EPLWA.”
In the coming months goalWA.net will work with the league to establish both media and social media connections and to create and organize a volunteer reporter force of writers, photographers and videographers to capture the teams in their debut seasons.
goalWA.net produced the EPLWA promo video below.
“We are on the look-out for people in our club’s towns who want to adopt their local side and share the joys and experiences of local football with the rest of the state,” Falk says.
“It is a great way to be involved, and also a great way for those interested in media to get experience.” Contact the league at EPLWA2014@gmail.com to learn how you can help cover your local club.
In just a few short months goalWA.net has already amassed a large collection of Evergreen Premier League-related stories, photos and videos. You can see them all at the tag ‘Evergreen Premier League” here: http://goalwa.wordpress.com/category/evergreen-premier-league/
