SEATTLE, WA —- (Shadow relaese) Mike Ramos and Nick Hamer continue to be a deadly duo for the Shadow attack as the two combined for three goals Saturday evening in Evergreen Premier League action to giveSpokane a 4-1 victory on the road against the Seattle Stars at Starfire Sports Complex. The result bumps the club’s record to 4-2-1 for the completion of the first half of the schedule and extends the team’s current run to 4-0-1. The team is now 3-0-1 on the road.
Nick Hamer (Gonzaga U / Mead HS) set up Mike Ramos (Seattle U / University HS) 13 minutes into the contest to give the Shadow the lead once again as they have scored the opening goal in every game except their 1-1 road draw against league-leading South Sound.

Seattle pulled even in the 27th minute via Buba Findi, but Hamer restored the lead in the 37th courtesy of Sam Engle (Whitworth) and added some insurance from the penalty spot in the 84th after Ramos was fouled in the area.
Pete Peterson (Gonzaga U / Central Valley HS) capped the contest two minutes into stoppage time.
The victory moved the Shadow into a tie for third with Bellingham at 13 points, just three back of first-place South Sound, who are idle this week. It was the lone game of the night in the league, which has three games on Sunday.
With his sixth goal of the season, Ramos is now alone in second on the scoring table, one back of Yakima’s Hector Valdovinos. Hamer’s two tallies moved him into a tie for third with Yakima’s Junior Garcia at five.
