VANCOUVER, WA—Jordan Farr (Vancouver Victory FC) led the Nation in total shutouts and shutouts per match this past fall season (14 shutouts also sets a Cascade Conference record.) Jordan was named the Cascade Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Farr was named Defender of the Week three times over the season.
“Jordan, and the line in front of him, played at a really high level this year,” said head coach Aaron Lewis. “It’s exciting to see his hard work continuing to be recognized.” Lewis coaches Farr for the Corban Warriors and also in the EPLWA with the Victory.
Farr, who boasts the second-best goals-against-average in the NAIA (0.30) and best mark in the CCC in the category, experienced a career-best year, leading the top-ranked Warrior defense to 13 total shutouts on the campaign. While stonewalling opposing team’s forwards on a number of occasions, he made 44 saves with a CCC-best .898 save percentage. For Farr, it marks his first-ever CCC Defensive Player of the Year Award, and inaugural First-Team honor after having received Second-Team honors his freshman year in 2013.
Farr was involved in two V2FC shutouts in 2015. He was credited with a full blank sheet and another .5 for playing a half in a Vancouver shutout.
