A new season means new places to play for clubs around the Evergreen Premier League. The EPLWA is going places it’s never been before and returning home to others.
2016 EPLWA Home Venues
Bellingham United – Civic Stadium
Olympic Force – Gordon Field
Seattle Stars – French Field
The Seattle Stars are moving to French Field in Kent, WA after playing two EPLWA seasons at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. French Field features an old-school stand built into the side of a hill, turf pitch, free parking.
South Sound – Harry Lang / Viking Stadium
The Shock will return to Harry Lang Stadium in Lakewood for a third straight season but will also play two matches in University Place at Viking Stadium at Curtis High School. Both venues feature turf pitches and free parking.
Spokane Shadow – Spokane Falls CC
The Spokane Shadow will be looking for a three-peat at the only EPLWA home they have ever had, Spokane Falls Community College Stadium. The turf pitch sits in a scenic area with one large stand and Evergreen trees on the opposite side. Free parking.
Vancouver Victory – Harmony Sports Complex
Vancouver Victory are leaving McKenzie Stadium after two seasons and are relocating to Harmony Sports Complex, at the Washington Timbers FC Youth fields. The surface is turf and bleachers are being brought in for fans. Free parking.
Wenatchee FC – Apple Bowl
Wenatchee FC played three matches at the Apple Bowl back in 2014 (road trip feature.) The entire 2015 season was spent at Wenatchee Valley CC as the Apple Bowl underwent a new turf installation. Now the Capitals are back all season in the scenic venue that sits below the mountains in the valley. Free parking.
Yakima United – Marquette Stadium
The Hoppers return for a third season to Marquette Stadium, which features the only grass surface in the EPLWA. Marquette sits alongside a giant fruit packing plant which provides a unique backdrop of huge walls of crates along the far side of the pitch. Free parking. (Road trip feature.)
