The Seattle Stars went into their weekend road swing to Wenatchee and Seattle without a win on the season. Now they have two.
The Stars beat Wenatchee 2-1 at the Apple Bowl on Saturday and then came back over the mountains and beat South Sound FC 1-0 at Curtis High School in University Place on Sunday.
Sunday’s match winner came from Tyler Bjork, who also scored on Saturday. Bjork (pictured above) now leads the league in goals with 7. His winner came in the 55th minute on an assist from Aty Taylor.
