YAKIMA, WA— Bellingham United (2-1-0) got a first half brace from Kurtis Pederson on their way to a 4-2 victory over Yakima United (0-2-2) at the Sozo Sports Complex on Saturday May 13.
Rene Caro got the Hammers going with a goal just seven minutes into the match. It was Caro’s second goal of the season. Kurtis Pederson pulled the visitors away from the hosts with a pair of goals. Pederson made it 2-0 for Bellingham in the 19th minute and then 3-0 in the 31st.
Yakima got one back in the 48th minute from Sebastian Navarro.

Uriel Herrera restored a 3-goal advantage when he scored to make it 4-1 for the Hammers in the 76th minute. The Hoppers responded with the final goal of the match by Luis Martinez just a minute later in the 76th and it was 4-2.
