Week 1 & 2 EPLWA Players Of The Week

WEEK ONE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Defensive:

Connor Moe – Bellingham United: Bellingham United veteran Connor Moe played his final game for the Hammers in week one and excelled at center back in leading Bellingham to a hard fought 1-0 win over the Everett Jets. Moe, also a member of four Western Indoor Soccer League champion teams for United, is moving to Canada, the Hammers announced.

Offensive:

Levan Zhividze – Vancouver Victory: The Vancouver Victory picked up their first Evergreen Premier League win since June 10th, 2018 thanks to a goal and two assists by Vancouver native and Clark College’s Levan Zhividze.

Other nominees:

Defensive: Corey Smith (Vancouver)

Offensive: Richard Henderson (Bellingham), Christian Caro (Bellingham)


WEEK TWO PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Defensive:

Hector Gutierrez – Bellingham United: Hector Gutierrez picked up in 2021 right where he left off in 2019. The Corban University alum notched three shutouts in 2019 and has already registered two in 2021, including a 4-0 win in week two against all-time EPLWA leading goal scorer Tyler Bjork and PacNW.

Offensive:

Hector Valdovinos – Yakima United: In extremely challenging conditions at SOZO Sports on Saturday, Hector Valdovinos came off the bench and scored three times to lead the Hoppers to a resounding 6-1 win. It was his second EPLWA POTW with his first coming nearly five years prior in the 2016 season.

Defensive: Jack Sluys (Washington Premier), Manny Nicasio (Oly Town), Stephen Murray (Tacoma Narrows)

Offensive: Eric Bunnell (Washington Premier), Max Hauser (Oly Town), Eddie Na (Tacoma Narrows)
