Offensive:
Eddie Na – Tacoma Narrows: After a slow start to the EPLWA season, Tacoma Narrows are unbeaten over their last three games including two straight wins and have worked their way into a tie atop the South Division. One big reason for their resurgence is the play of Eddie Na. On Saturday, in the stifling heat on the turf at SOZO Sports, Na did all his damage well into an exhausting game, scoring a second half equalizer and then adding a late insurance goal to lead Tacoma to a 3-1 win over Yakima United.
Defensive:
Owen Purvis – Vancouver Victory: 16 year-old goalkeeper Owen Purvis made his first start for the Vancouver Victory and just his second appearance of the season and kept his team in the hunt for the South Division title with a fantastic performance in a 1-1 tie against the Oly Town Artesians. Oly Town held the majority of possession and had numerous chances in the game, but Purvis was up to the task making a number of important saves throughout the game including two late saves after the pace picked up for both sides in the final 15 minutes.
Other Nominees:
Offensive: Arturo Bahena (Vancouver), Gil de la Luz (WA Premier)
Defensive: Sebastian Navarro (Tacoma Narrows), Manny Nicasio (Oly Town)
